I'm just glad this isn't hazy! An "old school" WCIPA, it has been too long my friend.

Clear rich amber color with plenty of foam in the Stella Artois goblet. Aromatic with lemon, alfalfa, and papaya in the nose. Starts out mellow and malty. Tangy and mouth-filling. Fruity with a delicious orange marmalade finish, but not so sweet. Flavors of mango and a touch of papaya for bonus points. This should be one of the better IPAs for 2025. From the 16 oz can purchased at Town & Country market. Dated 02/10/25.

16oz can (dated 3/3/21) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a clear (just a slight tinge of actual haze) medium-dark orange color with over an inch of white head that had very good retention and very light lacing.
Hop forward, for sure, with citrus and a touch of weed. A wee bit of malt in the background provides some contrast.
Same, but expanded, on the tongue: the malt was earthier, the hops brighter.
The body was smooth, a touch sticky, and had a finish that started sweet, but dried out very nicely.
Drinkability was good, and IPA you could drink a few of without getting bored.
Overall, a nicely done take on the style. Worth trying if you see it.
