Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with a three finger white head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of mildly caramel malt, citrus and dank hops, grapefruit, orange, mild tropical fruit and some light stone fruit; floral. Flavor is pale malt, citrus and dank hops, grapefruit, lemon, mild tropical fruit and a touch of onion; light dankness. Nice moderate bitterness that builds in the aftertaste. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. I hadn't seen this WC oriented IPA in its first incarnation, but just ran across it yesterday in a small grocery. Not quite a traditional WC style; with somewhat crisp malt and although there is plenty of citrus, the fruit flavors are complex and a bit muddled. There are some intriguing flavors in the mix that must be from the Eclipse hops although I can't place them. I like that the bitterness is solid right away, but builds after the taste and more flavor are revealed in the after finish. Overall a interesting and flavorful hop bill with plenty of herbal notes. The WC style is morphing over time, but as long as keeps its solid bitterness, I'm on board. I'll get this again.

Clear amber brew with plenty of foam in the Hopleaf Bar goblet. Splendidly aromatic. You think it's Mosaic and first sniff, then maybe it's all the Citra, but no, it's amped up peaches with something perfumey. Very powerful and intriguing. Eclipse from Australia is the main hop, plus Cryo Citra and Vic Secret. Rated at 70 IBUs.
Just a siight malty sweetness with an acidic twinge. Flavors are complex with papaya, grapefruit, and pine. Moderately bitter in the West Coast vein. A little too sharp for pleasure but highly sippable with that endless aroma. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Dated 08/19/21 on the bottom.
