Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a slightly hazy, medium golden amber with a two finger white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of lightly caramel malt, citrus hops, lemon, mild grapefruit and green melon. Flavor is pale malt, citrus and lightly piney hops, lemon, cantaloupe and green melon with pine developing into the finish. Not sure I've had a Cashmere single hop before, but it does have the expected lemon and melon flavors. It's not too complex, but pleasantly citrusy and with some unexpected pine. Great lemon and pine finish with solid herbal bitterness. Not getting as much caramel in the malt in this one as the Mosaic version, but I like the solid malt base better than most of the pale malt fresh hop ales. Picked up an Idaho 7 one at the same time and will try it later this week. I like this series a lot.
