Poured from a 22oz bomber
on the pour 1 finger of fine white head formed on top of a dull brass body with some light haze. not the greatest head retention. it tries to lace but doesn't quite get there.
Aroma is big and yeasty, with plenty of phenols, but a bit of green apple aroma mixing with just a bit too much sweetness and booze. It is quite a bright beer however.
Taste is big and again phenol-y with definite presence of alcohol, but not in a burny bitter way, but more just letting you know its there. The finish is surprisingly light and crackery making for a bit of a self palate cleanser.
Feel is quite attenuated and easy to put down for the ABV, and I daresay its almost refreshing! Dry medium finish leaves with a nice light and soft wheatiness.
Overall the aroma scared me a bit, I'm not gonna lie, but this beer proved me wrong, and is actually quite enjoyable.
