On nitro at the brewpub, N2 pours black with a tan head.
I get more walnut, chocolate and roasted malt on both the nose and tongue than pretty much any other nitro stout I've ever had. There is not as big of a bitter fruity punch of espresso as I expected.
A little chewy, but nice and smooth.

With all of the Holiday stouts available this time of year, you forget how good a regular stout can be. This is a very solid effort. Deep flavors of coffee and chocolate that are balanced from start to finish that feels substantial on the tongue. Of course a nice creamy head. Had this at the Brewery and It went exceptionally well with their Pork Porterhouse.

One of the best nitro enhanced oatmeal stouts I have ever had. This was a very fresh offering at the restaurant and tap room. The nitro provided the perfect complement, to maintain a creamy head throughout, while providing a soft, silky feel with every sip. Will definitely do this one again when in downtown Columbus!
