Poured out of a 22 oz bomber into an Exotic Origins tulip glass. Delicious beer, The beer smells and tastes of roasted malt, indicating it should age well. Very dark and dry with a boozy finish. The Rum adds a bit of a bite to the finish.

1 PINT 6 FLUID OUNCE bottle
Served in a snifter
This beer pours black and is topped with three inches of mocha head that leaves a little lacing.
The smell has roasted malt and a little booze. The coffee is not real strong.
The rum barrel adds more of a whiskey taste rather than a lot of barrel character. The coffee flavor is there but not a focal point. It melds well with the roasted malt and chocolate flavors which are cut by the rum flavor.
Full mouthfeel but not as thick as some. It has low carbonation.
I like how the rum kind of cuts the flavors of this stout rather than blend in like a bourbon would. It gives the flavor more bite. It is kind of like adding whiskey to your morning cup of coffee.

Poured from bomber into large Bell's Brewery goblet. Date of review is 8/13/16.
Appearance- Hard pour results in about 1/4 inch beautiful tan head. Color of the beer is dark inky, but not quite pitch black. Much more lacing than I had expected.
Smell- Real, natural vanilla is the first scent detected. This followed by honey and brown sugar. Surprisingly, I get little to no rum or coffee. Smell is sweet with little notes of anything else.
Taste- Oh wow, there's the coffee! Bright, bitter coffee is the first taste to come through. Vanilla and molasses are present too. Sweet, but not overpowering.
Mouthfeel- A bit thin, but that's to be expected with some barrel-aged stouts. This beer lingers on your tongue and throat well after it's swallowed.
Overall- I drove through a snowstorm and waited in line for this beer..............and I would do it again. Very good.

A nice sweet rum character that works well with the One Line coffee. Would have licked to see more wood character but overall this is my second favorite variant.

Enjoyed 1/23/2016 at the tap room on tap as part of a barrel aged flight.
Little head on tester for all five. Dark brown for all five. Little lacing for all five. Tan head all five.
Coffee. Spice. Chocolate. Light rum.
Coffee. Rum is not there except for booze taste. Biscuit. Sweet fruit.
Dry on finish. Heavy. Boozy compared to rum version with no coffee.
This is a good one. Can't go wrong with coffee in beer. Rum gives it and added different taste.
