From the growler via the brewery and enjoyed in a snifter. This rather nice little
BIPA pours a clear orange tinged copper color with a nice head of white foam that
settles to a thick ring, thin light pool, and showcases some subtle white lacing. Nose
of pine and citrus forward hop notes with mild sweet honey and candy malts, Flavors
follow the nose with pine and orange zest taking the lead into a honey and mild candy sugar
malt back bone with moderate herbal notes on the background that shows a touch of white pepper
and grapefruit. Nice mouth feel; medium high carbonation, medium body, and a lightly sweet and
pine driven note that finishes lightly dry.
Overall a SOLID BIPA that is just a touch too heavy on the pine but still solid.
Cheers
