Dark copper body fading to a lighter amber at the bottom of the glass, topped with a two finger beige head of froth.
The aroma consists of toast, toffee, caramel, nut and raisin.
Taste is nutty, toasty, with a little banana and grape and hints of toffee. It bears repeating, this is really toasty. I almost feel like I hear a crunch in the background when I swirl this around my tongue.
A little chewy with a nice dry finish.

5 0z pour on tap
A: light caramel amber body with good clarity. Not much of a head.
S: Very bready light toffee and a little bit of a champagne smell.
T: Very light for a doppekbock the bready toffee flavors are there but they seem tamed by the yeast.
M: lighter and with more carbonation then I was expecting.
O: Pretty damn fine beer not quite what I was expecting bit it's like a highly carbonated doppekbock with a splash of champagne.
