The 12 oz can says it's an IPA at 6.2% abv, so I don't know what's going on. It certainly comes across as a pale. Very delicate flavor. Nothing approaching the forwardness of an IPA. Not a huge fan.

Beautiful burnt gemstone amber with a fluffy off-white head dying to a curled white collar.
Smell from a ways off is Fruity Pebbles, but then coming in close is more dank, resinous and piney with a bit of biscuit and graham.
Taste is more bitter and West Coast, but softly so, with accents of orange before a semi-dry finish to this full, frothy body.
Well crafted.

I got a bottle of this off the single shelf at my local Giant Eagle. It poured a clear copper with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had citrus peel spice notes. The taste was bitter citrus leaning.....that finished clean. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 11/29/2017. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy deep orange amber/light copper color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky cream colored head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, strawberry, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and dark/bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, strawberry, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, strawberry, lemon/orange peel, pepper, pine, caramel, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and dark/bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/sticky, and slightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.6%. Overall this is an awesome American pale ale! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink; with the mellowly bitter/drying finish. Never aggressive. Mosaic and Huell Melon hops. Big perfectly balanced juicy hop complexity from both; nice dark/bready malt backbone, with adequate lingering bitter dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and spot on style example. Love both hops, awesome showcase.
