Thanks to JLindros for sharing this bottle.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice dark black hue with a thin mocha head that fades to light lacing and great legs.

S - Aromas of chocolate and lovely apple brandy, nice fruity notes. Solid aroma.

T - Taste is similar to the nose with great chocolate notes, however, there are great barrel notes. Lovely apple brandy notes, however, it's rather one note.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, smooth and creamy. Alcohol hidden nicely.

O - Overall this was a very solid stout, however, I think this is not quite as good as the the port one as this is a little one note.

Pours a decent dark foamy thicker head but facade fades fairly quickly, fair lacing, great legs, pitch black

Nose fair apple brandy, mild vanilla, some barrel notes, little coconut barrel and vanilla, spice, mild dark chocolate, as it warms more fudge, so much brandy

Trade big apple brandy, then big dark chocolate fudge, caramel, nougat, little roasted malt and coffee, char notes, fair vanilla, little candy bar, touch of earthy hop, medium to lighter bitterness, baking spices, cookie dough, drier finish, hint of alcohol late, loads more brandy and chocolate vanilla

Mouth is thicker fuller bod rich creamy, good carb, just a touch of alcohol

Overall again really nice, great base, barrel was good, doesn't pop as much as the vanilla port but still great
