I sampled this beer from a 22 oz bottle at cellar temp. the beer poured a black coffee color into my large snifter. Bottle is date stamped packaged on 12/15/2020.
There is a large fluffy tan head that almost overtops my glass.
Aroma is some fudge brownie, roasted malts and a bit of dark chocolate. I do get hints of vanilla and some ground coffee too. No hop character and the ABV is pretty well hidden too.
First sip reveals a medium to lighter body, especially for an imperial stout. Texture is smooth and does coat my palate. Carbonation is fine and fairly soft as it rolls across my mouth on the swallow.
Flavor is what I expect based on the nose. Dark chocolate, fudge brownie, and some ground coffee mix up front. This rolls to a bit of roasted malts and faint hints of vanilla. I never get the coconut notes. Hops also absent on flavor profile and no warming on the finish to let me know of any booze.
The beer is a good mix of flavors and the hidden ABV is nice, sort of wish I found the coconut, but still enjoyed this beer.

A - Black pour with toffee colored cream resting on top, no carbonation.
S - Toasted cocoa, fudge brownie, sweet roasted malt, and a shot of vasnilla cream.
T - Roasted chocolate malt base with some coffee bean, vanilla, toasted / roasted cocoa, some vanilla cream, and cocoa powder. Ends balanced with a pleasing mix between chocolate roast sweetness and coffee bitterness. The alcohol does poke through a little bit.
M - Light syrupy body, leaves a sugary residue on the lips, dry on the sides of the mouth with some wetness on the tongue.
O - This is really full of flavor, worth seeking out.

Poured at fridge temp. After pouring, there were a couple of large snot-like chunks that floated to the top of the glass. Had to scoop them out and found that they were huge gelatinous chunks. Gross. Anyway, pours black with light brown head. Nose is coffee, roasted malts, a bit of dark chocolate, and some vanilla. The taste follows the nose, but a few other things creep in. Coconut, vanilla, chocolate, coffee, some dark fruit, black licorice, tobacco, and some burnt wood. Mouthfeel is pretty thick and viscous. Overall, a really nice stout.

Wolf’s Ridge has some of the deftest hand in the stout game. The most recent release in our stash was the Dire Wolf – Coffee Joy. The stout has an all around balanced flavor with chocolate, coffee, coconut, and vanilla all playing their part. Too often, this quantity of additions just get mushed together and are hard to decipher. The beer is sweet, roasty, and all those additions make it

Canned on 1/21/22. 16oz can poured into a tulip.
Pours almost black; small khaki head that fades leaving okay retention and lacing.
The aromas have a subtle blend of coffee, hazelnut and chocolate. Some vanilla. Malts are there.
The flavors are bold and rich while remaining balanced. The coffee leads the way. Nice blend of milk chocolate and dark chocolate. More vanilla along with some hints of coconut. More hazelnut in the mix. Moderate bitterness. Subtle sweetness. Solid malt backbone. Mild warmth in the finish but the alcohol is ultimately well hidden. I'd consider this one dangerously drinkable.
Mouthfeel is nice. It's full-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's fluffy, smooth and slightly velvety.
This is a pretty nice coffee stout. The coffee shines. Nice espresso characteristics. It's bold but balanced. The craftsmanship is on point. Well done.

We ordered this one from Tavour in a 22 ounce bottle, chilled and poured into an imperial pint glass.
Look: dark and almost black, light tan finger and a half head that dissipates quickly but leaves a shallow head residual that stuck around for a while (super tiny bubbles that almost look like its on nitro). Light lacing that trails.
Smell: dark roast, sweet dark coffee, dark roasted chocolate maltiness (but no cocoa distinguishable) and subtle coconut
Taste: dark roasted sweet coffee, coconut (almost vanilla notes), roasted chocolate maltiness with some hints of cocoa. The trailing notes are sweet, cocoa and coconut. Not boozy at all. Slight bittering from the roast, not from the hop.
Feel: SMOOOOOTH, little to no carbonation, full body but not syrupy. No warming from the booze.
We are dark beer fans and so I guess take our rating with that in mind. The coffee is pretty mild and the sweet cocoa and coconut are pretty subtle. Well balanced beer overall, none of the flavors are too harsh or in your face but the sweet notes hide the 10.4% ABV very well. Good sipping sweet stout. Cheers!

22 ounce bottle, packaged on DEC/15/2020. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. I like the aroma, the brew smells like coffee, coconut, burnt/charred malt, dark bread and some dark chocolate. I think the taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but there's also some vanilla and earthy flavors noticeable too. I thought the roasty/coffee flavors stood out without overpowering the other flavors. Mouthfeel/body is full, it's creamy and coating with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good imperial stout, definitely worth picking up if you come across some! $12.99 a bomber.

From the 22 oz bottle in a snifter via Savor Growl in Columbus.
This beefy beast pours a deep and dark blackish brown with a decent
head of light brown foam that subsides to a thick ring, thin light
clumping pool, and shows sparse lacing. Nose of rich dark coffee (duh),
vanilla, coconut, dark cocoa, subtle char, and heavy booze. Flavors
exceed the nose with a crescendo of rich dark coffee mingling with
dark cocoa, and laying upon a bed of vanilla and toasted coconut.
Notes of char and roast are present with a rum note mingling on
the rear of the taste. Excellent mouth feel; full body, low
carbonation, and a rich warming finish that is subtly dry
and deeply roasted.
Overall, another fantastic brew from a fantastic brewery.
Dear sirs, PLEASE send some of these fine libation to
Jungle Jim's-----they will fare VERY well!
Cheers
