22 ounce bottle, packaged on date on label is blank. Pretty sure this was a late 2018 release. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch and a half tan head that stayed around for a long time. There's also a good amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like brandy, chocolate, wheat/grainy malt, oak, charred/burnt malt and coffee. Taste is similar to the aroma, with brandy, oak, burnt/charred malt, wheat, earthy, coffee and dark chocolate flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's creamy, slick and very smooth with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a pretty good imperial stout, definitely worth trying if you come across some!

Dark muddy brown to black with a creamy tan blanket that has insanely strong retention.
Smell is sharply woody, lightly astringent of red fruit, with notes of peanut butter shake and milk chocolate.
Taste is solidly nutty, chocolatey roast, but that is quickly fortified by the substantial brandy barrel presence that has a clear red fruit boozy character to it. There's not a lot of complexity to it, but it's pretty mature with a bit of tobacco leaf on the exhale.
The smooth body is moderate and easy to put down despite some heat. The finish is powder dry, thinning it out quite a bit on the swallow.

This mighty fine collaboration between Wolf's Ridge and Listermann in
Cincinnati which is an imperial wheat stout on top of being a cool collab
pours a rich muddled blackish brown with a nice head of tan foam that
settles to a thick ring, thin film, and shows some excellent lacing. Nose of
brandy, dark rye bread notes, touches of coffee, bakers chocolate, and
oak. Flavors are rewarding to say the least---creamy smooth wheat and
touches of char wash over coffee and brandy flavors with dark bakers
chocolate and touches of rye bread mix with dark and tart pie cherries.
Oak and vinous notes of Merlot increase with warmth, and a touch of
smoke and leather finish out the taste. FANTASTIC mouth feel; full
and creamy smooth body---soft as silk, light carbonation, and a rich
full finish that is warm, coating, inviting, and moderately dry.
One of the best I have had and a bonus being that it is a collaboration
between two of my more favorite breweries.
Excellent!
Cheers!
By the way, redo this one and enter it in contests---it deserves attention
like nobody's business.
Excellence in a glass!
