L: Slight orange color, more yellow. Slight cloudy. Lots of carbonation at the bottom but little head and lace.
S: Slight clove. Slight orange. Nothing really dominates but leans to the cheaper hefe.
F: Creamy spread fading fast. Almost leaves a taste like just chewed gum and cereal remainder.
T: Both tastes, the Hefe side and the orange peel side seem to cancel each other.
O: I love a good hefe, I'm not a big fan of beers that are dominated by fruit. One good thing is this does not taste artificial or sweet and would be a good fit for someone who wants less clove/banana flavor in a hefe. For me, not what I expected.

Pours a hazy gold with not much head. Little lacing throughout the tasting.

Nose is traditional Hefeweizen with more banana than clove but neither is overdone.

The taste features banana and clove as expected. The added orange is present but serves more to soften/merge the banana. That combination is nice. The finish has a brief astringency, an odd bitterness, that is off putting. From the orange?

Mouthfeel is fair and carbonation a little lacking.

Interesting premise that falls short for me.

I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from my local Giant Eagle. It poured a slightly hazy golden with thin white head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had bright citrus notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with subtle sparkling orange flare. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with prominent carbonation. Overall it is a decent beer.
