Half pour at taproom. Hazy yellow golden pour, small creamy head. Grainy, pale malt aroma with a hint of citrus. Taste starts with sweet, fruity flavors before succumbing to a sharp, citrusy tanginess, orange zest.

Hmm. Did I buy a stale ale from Saveon again? Yes. It has the same name as this, and it is from the same brewer, but it is a hazy, coming in at 7% ABV. It's still good but definitely not great and not what I expected for the price.

It pours hazy and pale with nice lacing. The aroma is mostly gone - a little stinkiness remains. The taste is still close to where it should be, not too bitter, a bit malty. Just a bit of nastiness coming in from a few months in the can. It has a nice burp and a reasonably clean finish.

Not recommended. I don't think this is how it was supposed to taste and I doubt I will get another chance at it (and that's OK).

I got a bottle of this beer from my local Giant Eagle store. It might be an older bottle as it seemed kinda skunky. It poured a pale slightly hazy yellow with white head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had bitter citrus and slight skunk. The taste was bitter through the drink with lemon being the primary culprit. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's an ok beer.

12 FL OZ bottle
Served in a Cleveland Browns pint glass

This beer pours a golden amber hue and is hazy. It is topped with an inch of beige head that leaves decent lacing.

The smell is citrus with a focus on grapefruit. The malt comes through with some bread and caramel. It smells well balanced.

It has a nice grapefruit flavor. There is some bitterness in the finish. It is a very flavorful pale ale.

Medium bodied with a biting mouthfeel

This is a good old school pale ale. It harkens to a simpler time when beer wasn't full of lactose and fruit.
