A little more gold than red. Has the clear body you would expect from a lager albeit darker. The smell is sweet, candy, a little fruit and a little toffee. The taste is burnt caramel up front with sweeter caramel carrying through the finish. The aftertaste is nicely dry, it beckons you to get another gulp. While the mouthfeel is lighter, which can be expected from 4.9% beer. Overall I really enjoyed this red lager and would definitely drink it again.
