Peanut butter pastry stout coming through. MBW from the Listermann collab is basically peanut butter frosting turned into a beer. The sweetness is turned up to 11 and surpasses the pastry stout, into the world of sugar stout. Really fun beer to try out.

Look: Nice frothy head that unfortunately doesn't stick around for the long haul. Dark brown, but not opaque.
Smell: Honest to God peanut butter pie
Taste: Straight up peanut butter pie from a fancy restaurant. The right balance of salt, peanut butter, sweetness, chocolate, and house made whipped cream that's somehow light enough to make you forget you just ate 500 calories.
Feel: Light. Somewhat cola-like. It's appropriate given the flavor profile, but I'd prefer a something that feels more dense on the palate.
Overall: Literally the only peanut butter stout I've ever wanted to finish an entire glass of. You need to try it and this beer needs to be in the regular rotation over at Wolf's Ridge. I'm super cereal, guys. (Can dated June 30 2020)

16 ounce can, canned on JUNE 30 2020 stamped on the bottom. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about a half inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. The brew smells like peanut butter/peanuts, vanilla, sea salt and some cinnamon. Taste pretty much follows the aroma, but there's also some brown sugar, cream and roasted malt flavors noticeable too. I think the peanut butter and cinnamon stand out. For a pastry stout though I expected this to be sweeter tasting. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's easy enough to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good overall brew, worth picking up if you come across some!
