From the 22 oz bottle in a snifter. This solid imperial pours
a dark brownish black with dark tea highlights, and a light
head of foam that fizzles to a thin ring. Nose of tart cherry,
dark cocoa, faint coffee, light char, cream, vanilla, and deep
roasted malts. Flavors pack the punch with a nicely balanced
tart cherry, light char, balanced dark coffee, dark cocoa touches,
deep roast, and light vanilla touches that appear on the rear of the
taste. Nice mouth feel; full body, smooth, coating, lightly slick,
faint carbonation, and a tart cherry and bitter malt finish that
is moderately dry.
Overall, a nice addition to the DIre Wolf family!
Also, BIG THANKS to finally coming to Cincinnati!
Cheers
