Our brewers take pride in the rich, malt-driven German beer styles we brew. This Maibock is brewed with a blend of Pilsner and Munich malts, then hopped generously with Kazbek. The style is often brewed in celebration and ours is no different - heralding the warmth of late Spring, or Frühling. Prost!

Canned on 5/6/21. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours golden with nice clarity and transparency; small off-white head that fades leaving nice retention and lacing. The aromas are malt forward. Lots of breads and crackers along with some caramel. The flavors are great. More caramel along with some toffee. Mild hints of vanilla. More breads and grains. Solid bitterness. Solid malt backbone. Alcohol basically goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's fluffy, smooth and easy to drink.

This is a great Maibock. Great flavors. They really nailed the style. Well done. I really like this.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This solid maibock pours a
nice, clear, amber tinged golden with a nice head of white
foam that settles to a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and displays
some nice light lacing. Nose of honey, light breaded malts,
floral hops, herbal hops, and subtle apple as well as peach
notes amongst the caramel malts. Flavors follow nicely with
caramel, honey, crisp apple, peaches, herbal hops, floral notes,
and solid breaded malts with a dash of pine. Nice mouth
feel; medium light body, smooth, moderately sweet yet
nicely balanced, light soft carbonation, and a nicely balanced
lightly dry finish between sweet and herbal hops.

Overall, a SOLID brew from a great little brewery!

Cheers
