From the can in a snifter. This solid little brew pours a jet black with
a fantastic head of tan foam that settles to a thick ring, thick clumping
layer, and shows some very nice lacing. Nose of mint, cream, and dark
roasted malts showing hints of coffee, and dark cocoa. Flavors follow
but exceed by presentation over the nose with dark cocoa, mint, cream,
brulee touches, and a nice touch of dark roasted coffee. Nice mouth feel;
full body, light soft carbonation, and a mint forward and dark cocoa bitter
malt finish.
Overall, a solid little brew
Cheers

Pours gorgeous golden bronze with a two finger sculpted head of foam that artfully fades to wispy lacing in the glass. An aroma of grass and light mint with chocolate overtones greets the nose. The taste is wonderful, with mint, sumptuous chocolate, vanilla and a slight roastiness profile. This is a subtle mint and beautifully done. Of the Todd's Cupcakes, this is my favorite. I believe a tear formed when I got the end of the brew.

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a short beige head that died down but never completely faded away.
S: Light to moderate aromas of mint chocolate chip are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has hints of licorice and a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium- to full-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I liked the aromas and flavors of mint chocolate chip but the hints of licorice detracted somewhat from the taste.
