I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from my local Giant Eagle store. It poured a clear golden with thin white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had line and grain notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with grain malt base with lime zest. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Clear light amber with a tall, off-white foam head settling in lumps to a thick sponge.
Aside from the hint of lime, my first impression is that of a ditch water sort of funk. I mean, it's not actually funky, but it's got a certain quality that's a bit earthy yet weird, like water vegetation. However, the primary palate expresses a touch of Johnny cakes with a long bready finish.
Surprisingly enough, our consensus found the GLBC lime lager to be a hair more enjoyable.
