8 ounce bottle, packaged 08/13/21, picked this one up at a local store yesterday, surprisingly it's still around. Let's see how this one aged! Served in a Dire Wolf chalice, the brew pours dark brown/black with about an inch or so tan head after an aggressive pour. Head retention and lacing are both good enough. I like the aroma, the brew smells like fudge, vanilla, roasted malt, dark fruit, bourbon, molasses and some coffee. For the most part I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some caramel and toffee flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's slick and a bit creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good barrel aged imperial stout, still drinking good at this point but would have liked to try it fresher. Still might pick up another bottle if they have any left!

8 oz bottle, born on 8/13/21, poured into a snifter at 55 degrees F:
L - dark black and oily with a hazelnut head that disappeared quickly
S - straight up bourbon
T - wonderful blend of malt, bourbon, chocolate and coffee notes
F - very silky for such a strong beer
O - great beer, very strong in its infancy, but the wonderful blend of flavors Wolf's Ridge is know for is here
