One of the rarest vanillas in the world grows wild and is pollinated by a single insect - the iridescent green dilemma orchid bee in South America. Wild Pompona vanilla beans are the size of your hand and have extra rich vanilla flavor.

Bottled 09/20/21, 8 oz poured into snifter.
Look: Deep, dark black. Not much on the head for me, but I take responsibility for manhandling the glass.
Smell: Oakey, malty, Agree with the vanilla and brandy. Chocolate.
Taste: Interesting. I mainly get the woody flavor up front with chocolate and then vanilla.
Feel: Thick but smooth. Mid-body, a bit creamy. A bit of carbonation.
Doesn't feel like there's much else to say about it. It's pretty straightforward but enjoyable. Glad to finally have a chance to crack it.

8 ounce bottle, no dating stamp on the label but this was part of their recent 8th Anniversary release so I'm guessing this was bottled in September 2021 like their other anniversary brews. Served in a Wolf's Ridge Dire Wolf glass, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head that stuck around a while. Good amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like vanilla, brandy, dark fruit, chocolate, roasted malt and molasses. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some oak and earthy flavors noticeable too. It's slick and a little creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this one a lot, certainly worth picking up if you come across some!

Smell - roasty woody slight wine and vanilla
Taste - toasty woody with a dark malt and a slight sweet vanilla and spice
Feel - medium body with a light carb
Overall - Ok but not a fan of the spice in this one
