Pours amber-brown with a decent white fizz of a head that fades right away. Good bourbon smell and taste up front. Noticeable sweetness, clove, some sugar, vanilla, and then fruits. I'll say raisin, pears, maybe some pears and bananas. Definitely gives me a sort of caramel cider vibe, but the cider is cut with something other than apple - that's when the pear cuts in, mainly. Luxurious and tasty, smooth and covering, decent body with a fair carbonation. A little dry but sure warms you up after a few sips.

From the 22 oz bottle in a snifter. This unique brew pours a muddled
amber tinged murky brown akin to dark apple cider with a decent head of
off white foam that settles to a thick ring, fain dusty layer, and faint lacing.
Nose of bourbon, candy sugar, mulled apples, banana, clove, vanilla, and
rich oak amongst astringent booze. Flavors pump up the volume with candy
sugars, apple cider / mulled apples, golden raisin, bourbon, vanilla, oak, pear,
banana, and clove notes. Nice mouth feel; medium body, light carbonation,
smooth, rich, warming, coating, and finishing medium dry.
Overall.....she ain't pretty, but this one is big on flavor! Would consider
aging this one a few years. Very nice!
Cheers
