From the 22 oz bottle in a snifter. This monster pours a dark
muddled brown with a nice head of khaki foam that settles to
a thick ring, thin clumping layer, and sports some nice light lacing
and some nice legs. Nose of bourbon, dark coffee, dark berry notes,
oak, vanilla, toffee, and dark chocolate. Flavors follow the nose
with aplomb. Dark coffee, dark chocolate, and rich bourbon vie
for dominance over vanilla, oak, and rich toffee laced with dates,
toasted coconut, and a melange of dark berry hints. Mouth feel
is full, sticky, smooth, rich, warming, lightly slick, coating, light
subtly zippy carbonation, and a warming sweet yet balanced
finish.
Overall----another WOW brew from a great brewery!
Cheers
