Sat on this for a bit, but here it is - a bomber poured into a snifter.
Dark brown-black, red tinged with a slight, fading head. I'm getting a sweet and fruity aroma. There is a liquor barrel backing from the bourbon along with something like brown sugar, toffee, caramel. Then there's the dark stone fruits like cherry and raisins. And the taste follows. It's quite up front with the dark fruit flavor, but the sweetness and barrel character open up as it goes down. The vanilla is quite pronounced, more than I was expecting. A big boy, not surprising given the ABV, low on carbonation, quite smooth with a dry finish.
Last of the barrel aged blasts I have from WR... was nice while it lasted.

A - Dark burgundy pour with a light layer of cream colored foam resting on top.
S - Dark fruit and caramel.
T - Bourbon, dark fruit, prunes, figs and ends on the sweeter side.
M - Big medium body and warming on the way down.
O - Skeptical at first but this beer grew on me quickly.

From the 22 oz bottle in a snifter. This monster pours a dark mahogany with a
nice head of kahki foam that settles to a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and sports some
nice light lacing. Nose of bourbon, vanilla, oak, toffee, raisin, plums, and brown sugars.
Flavors hit the WOW fact. Dark raisins dance with bourbon, oak, and rich vanilla over
a layer of cherry, brown sugars, and toffee touched with leather and vinous wine notes.
Cranberry and brandy show more with warmth. Mouth feel is medium, light carbonation,
smooth as silk, rich, warming, and finishing moderately dry.
Overall, can't say enough good about this brewery!
Excellent!
Cheers
