We matured our Belgian Quad for two years in rare barrels that previously aged Heaven Hill bourbon for 10 years. Layers of oak and vanilla compliment notes of fig, raisin, toffee and maple. Deeply rich and complex, yet smooth to sip.

Nice, deep brown with a tan head. Head fades out pretty quickly into a ring. I think the description is pretty accurate on this one - raisins and other dark fruits, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, oak. Taste follows and it's a strong, delicious sipper. Rich and flavorful, complex, mid-bodied, not too carbonated, but smooth and warming.

From the 22 oz bottle in a snifter from the Little Lady. This monster
brew pours a deep muddled mahogany brown with a moderate head of
quickly dissipating foam that sizzles to a thin ring. Nose of bourbon, oak,
vanilla, toffee, rum, raisin, brown sugars, maple, and oak. Flavors follow
the nose with aplomb. Toffee, brown sugars, oak, vanilla, raisin, fig, date,
bourbon, subtle maple, vinous brandy, and apple cider notes. Mouth feel
is medium, faint carbonation, smooth, rich, complex, warming, and finishing
moderately dry.
Overall, a stellar brew from a stellar brewery!
Cheers
