12 ounce can, looks like the stamp on the bottom of the can says packaged MAY 02 2025. Served in a chalice, the beer pours a dark brown color with some ruby red tinges and about an inch light tan head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. I like the aroma, the brew smells like brown sugar, raisins, caramel, dark bread and a bit of whiskey. For the most part I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some toffee and oak flavors noticeable too. Leans sweeter tasting. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's a bit coating and creamy with a good amount of soft carbonation. I thought this one was pretty good, certainly worth a try if you're into strong ales!

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This excellent strong ale pours a
deep murky brown with a modest head of khaki foam that settles to
a thin ring with faint lacing. Nose of bourbon, oak, vanilla, brandy
nuances, and dark berry notes dashed with brown sugars and astringent
booze. Flavors knock it out of the park with waves of bourbon, cherry, oak,
vanilla, brown sugars, subtle leather, light tobacco, and brandy notes. Mouth
feel is medium, light carbonation, smooth, and finishing medium dry.
Overall, exceptional balance and very well crafted.
A treat!
Cheers
