Bock is German for “strong” but is also used to describe the stubborn or Obstinate behavior of a male goat. Drink a few of these and you may start to behave like one. Tradition is important but so is modernity. Brewed with a reverence to both and an eye on the future.

From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This excellent doppel pours a deep
clear ruby tinged mahogany with a nice head of khaki foam that settles
to a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and sport some nice lacing. Nose of brown
sugars, raisin, cherry, dark bread, and subtle astringent booze. Flavors
hit the mark with brwon sugars, dark breaded malts, cherry, peach,
raisin, and toffee. Mouth feel is medium, medium light carbonation,
smooth, rich, lightly warming, and finishing sweet and nicely
balanced with a touch of hops.
Overall, a stellar doppel that should be entered into contests
and be kept year round (HINT!HINT!).
On tap I bet this is stunning!
Cheers
