This place was located in Barrio Logan...'the hood' of San Diego. Honestly I didn't expect much; was just tagging along with a few friends to go and watch the World Cup. They had 5 different brews to choose from and only 3 were available.

ABUELITAS CHOCOLATE STOUT
All 3 were excellent! I am extremely picky with things and very critical...and I have nothing but good to say about the the craft of this brew. I've never sipped on a STOUT and enjoyed it...just not my thing. But I had to try there STOUT just because of the name...and boy was I shocked. You can taste the mexican chocolate in the brew and it was delicious. El Jefe was a really well made Heffe that I would buy again and the SAISON was a perfect brew for a hot summer day...It had notes of Jamaica in it that was extremely refreshing. I was eager to try out the Abuelos Pale Ale but apparently its a seasonal batch that rarely comes in, but when it does...It's supposed to be great!
I would bet this company pushes forward to compete with the best of them...Keep it up!
