On tap at the brewery – Taster from flight

A: Hazy orange cream look and not too far off from an orange Julius would appear. Not much visibility there but a nice frothy rim of pure ivory stuff caps over for a few prolonged moments. Light swaths of lace scatter across the glass after every sip.
S: Smells of tangy sourdough bread with coriander spices and some blood orange fruit. Finishes out with more earthy spice and some sour fruit notes. Not all that bad and rather fruity aromas.
T: Tastes much the same with a sourdough bread malt base. Not all that grainy or husk like which is nice. I get coriander spice with orange and cumquats. Relatively low in bitterness with a nice creamy texture and no alcohol presence. Nicely balanced in that manner. Not particularly yeasty or Belgian in character but kind of nice and refreshing.
M: Light and creamy mouth feel with a low bitterness factor and nice drying crisp finish.
D: Not like most Belgian IPA’s that tote heavily one way or the other. Kind of middle of the road but still nicely drinkable and refreshing for a nice hot day. Lots of citrus and spice notes with a bit of sour maltiness to it.
