A Pale Ale with cranberry and rosemary added
A: Cranpa pours a golden amber hue with some fair clarity to it. A thin layer of light khakiness lands on top and settles out in a few shortened moments. Light dots and splashes of lace decorate the glass on the way down.
S: The nose is not all that fragrant here but does have some tart cranberry and sprigs of rosemary present. Not picking up much else other than some sugary malt bits. Definitely has you thinking Thanksgiving Dinner however. Tart cranberry sauce with some pungency of the earthy rosemary.
T: Rosemary really comes through in spades here. Pungently earthy and pine-like. Cranberry adds a sweet tratness towards the finish. Lightly sweet from the malts with a low amount of actual bitterness. All things considered it is decently balanced and kind of works together.
M: Feel is smooth and creamy on the palate with a light moderate filling. There is a low amount of bitterness to the beer with a nice tart dry finish.
D: This was alright in that they successfully delivered as advertised and really created a Thanksgiving brew of sorts. The rosemary dominates most all else I would say. Really Just not something I would want to consume much of.
