On tap at the brewery – Taster glass

A cream ale with coffee added – on nitro
A: Golden blonde body with a cascading nitro effect. Thick and creamy shave cream top with some rather impeccable hang time. Quite the looker actually.
S: The aroma is incredibly fresh with pure gourmet roasted beans. Like putting your face in a newly opened bag of dark roast java. Hard to note anything underneath all the coffee which is fine with me. Definitely a step up from some of the other brews had today.
T: Taste is a blonde stout and a rather tasty one at that. Espresso bean blends with some vanilla cream action. Quite nice actually like drinking a café latte. Great creamy malt and not grainy sans any bitter or astringent marks. Finishes out with a touch of nail polish remover which kind of screws the pooch here. Something seriously up with this entire brew house.
M: Somewhat thin and watery but with a nice creamy texture across the palate. Low to no bitterness and a nice drying towards the finish.
D: One of their better brews and much like the few blonde stouts you are starting to see these days. The fresh coffee added really makes this brew. Otherwise some serious flaws are exposed and the flavors start to take a turn for the worse.
