Stopped by the brewery in Central City the other night, after dinner and an evening spent gambling in Blackhawk. Managed to try all five of the beers on tap, and this one was one was probably in the middle. Light hop aromas. On the palate, somewhat sweet, lightly hopped. Not offensive, but not memorable either.

In an American city? Pours a light sunny yellow color that seems light for a pale. More along the lines of a blond. A sudsy white head with limited retention and no lacing.
The nose is soft with some very husky/grainy notes. Mostly generic malt notes with a light earthy hop aroma on the back end. Some light oxidation but not over the top.
The taste is hard to pick out because of all the bitterness that comes out. What you can pick out is a bit of pils malt and some generic grainy malt notes. After that the bitterness dominates everything. There are some light grassy hop notes in the finish, but only after you mouth adjusts a bit.
The body is over carbonated which only enhances this bittering taste. Overall really out of balance and is board line blond.
