Always call first, Wild Rock has interesting hours.

Kinda a 20's steak house meets a 60's lodge feel, with dark woods, fire places and long aprons. Fits well at the base of a Ski Resort. Actually really pretty with their patio view of the peaks.

Six beers on tap. Great Pilsner and Fantastic Porter. Irish Red was good, wheat is a chick beer.

Burgers are your best bet in Buffalo and Beef. Large portions, but at $15 or more a pop, do have two. Wings were fresh, but not as spicy as expected. Food is all really good. The kids meals start at $7. Pints are $4.50 sampler $9, and you get about 3 oz pours. Steaks and seafood pushing $40.

Only about 3 TVs, so if you are looking to get away from the typical brew pub meets sports bar, this is a good fit.

Service was good, but had to flag the team down for a second pint.

This is a step up from the typical brewpub, but the prices make sure you don't forget that. Much better place at 2/3rds the price.

Went up to the high county to see my brother and he suggested we go here for dinner and a beer. It is a member of Keystone Ski resort's resturants that are on it's property. We got there around 8 PM and the place was almost dead. When you first enter you find a large dining area with dark woods and a large gas fireplace. The bar area is near by with a couple TVs tuned to whatever game is on. The kitchen is next to it, open so you can see the staff at work. A waiter came and gave us menus.
A beer list was on the wall showing six beers. I first picked the stout, but the waiter says it is out. My brother suggests a sampler. I am brought five glasses with about 3 ounces of beer in each served on a sheet that describes the beers (4 regular, and a place for a rotation amber and a rotating dark). The waiter says I can get another glass of whichever one I like the best. I find this is for $9. Since I am on vacation I let the price go by.
The menu has a rather limited selection and the items are all a bit high to me for a place that during the summer should be having lower prices to attract business. My brother and his friends pick various burgers ($12.99 for beef, 14.99 for buffelo). I select the Buffelo bangers and mash (ale infused sausages seved with vegetables and garlic mash potatoes. Our dinner is served fairly fast. The others find their burgers not that impressive. Since things like mushrooms, bacon, cheese, etc are an extra $1 each, they went a bit plain. The burgers are supposedly 1/2 pounders but they look a little light. The fries that came with them also look a bit small a serving for the price. My $16.99 platter has a modest mound of taters in the center of the plate with 2 sliced sausages leaning around the pile. A very small side of vegetables are on the side. The food is not that hot but OK since I was starved. The vegetables a bit undercooked.
The bill is double checked showing a different price for my sampler and a different price for my brother's pitcher (but since on was less then what was on the menu, we let it slide). I checked out the happy hour menu. Beers are the $2.50 and a small menu of $7.00 items (all a bit fancy for happy hour). In the end, we ended up at Old Chicago in Dillon to get cheaper beer and some more food for my brother and his friends to dine on. Wolf Rock looked really nice but I will next time go into any of the other breweries in the surrounding area.
