SingleSpeed Brewing

Corner location in downtown Cedar Falls. Street parking plus a nearby public parking lot. Sidewalk patio out front. Windows at the front, brick interior walls, and a well worn wood slat floor. Short bar with five stools, and other seating at high and low tables, plus a bench. One TV showing sports. About twelve taps, with a good selection of styles. Cooler behind the bar has beers to go. View of brewing equipment through glass at the back. Cordial and helpful staff. Back kitchen prepares food for the customers. Cozy spot for enjoying a brew.

A cozy, corner, brick and wood taproom. Had the Beerenberg IPA, of a Norwegian style, which was so-so. The place was quieter than the average tap room, a good thing, since most people are trying to converse in these types of public houses! The service was friendly and good.

 

A georgous, industrial setting. An awesome patio with full tap list. Not busy but for some reason, toik a whilw to get served. Great beers. Lots of food, but didnt eat. Not the best of knowlegable servers.

 

 

 

Many of their beers taste like IPAs. Except their IPAs don't taste like IPAs.
They carry guest beers at the CF location, so that is a big plus.
Fantastic at marketing their product and promoting craft beer in the area.
Side note: really poor bar stools/chairs, bad enough that I prefer standing there.

Very cool atmosphere, with most of their current lineup available on tap. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. I was there at a busy time, so it was kind of loud. The tap room is small with very high ceilings. They don't take food orders at the bar, so I passed on trying to order food. The beer is excellent, though, and SingleSpeed is definitely worth a visit.

Has a nice nutty flavor with it.

Stopped in and tried a flight. A nice local brewery with a decent atmosphere, It was not busy for a Saturday night and was nice and relaxed. The service was good and the beer was better. Ended up eating a flatbread while we were there and it was pretty solid. Tried a cream ale, a cranberry IPA, and a couple of stouts. A good variety and they all were pretty solid (the Coffee stout was great). I'll be going there again.

 

Great local spot for amazing beers! The quality of the beer here is top notch and they release a new beer each week. Unique beers in small batches makes this place awesome!
