I hate rating a NorCal brewery product low since it is my home but I guess I really rated this one as average, which it is. Colour is almost like a malt liquor not an IPA. Smells not like much of anything, no hops, no citrus, no flowers or fruit. I could be sniffing a low abv off brand pale ale. Taste is mildly fruity and disappointing. Mouthfeel and aftertaste is average. But it does pack a nice 7 abv and was half the price of most of the other IPA's.

On tap @ 559 in Old Town Clovis.
Good straw color, visible carbonation.
Little discernable aroma. Cannot detect any hops.
Strange flavor. Basic malt with earthy hay funk. I cannot detect any hop flavor. Kind of tastes like a saison. This is really bad.
Watery. Good carbonation.
Not so offensive that I couldn't finish it, so there's that, but it is bad.
Perhaps they have a point from which to start. But this is awful and i question possible infection or sanitation issues. I also can't help but wonder where the hell all the hops they added went if they actually added as much as they claim - this tastes like it could be around 15-20 IBU's, not 90 - not even close. Really a shame and i'm bummed this came from my home town.

Appearance: crystal clear straw yellow
Smell: butterscotch. Little to no hops aroma or malt aroma. Just butterscotch.
Taste: butterscotch. No hops flavor. Harshly bitter.
Feel: dry as a bone. Very light. We'll carbonated.
Overall: diacetyl bomb. Nothing like what the label advertises. Diacttl bomb. Very disappointed.
