16oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of bubbly foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of peanuts, toffee, caramel and milk chocolate. Sweet toffee, caramel and chocolate with roasty notes and peanut taste.

The Nut Goodie Porter pours beautifully, but the head dies before you can bring it to your mouth. It has a dark brown body with a tan head - but enjoy that head for the 4 seconds it stays on the beer.
The earthy nutty flavor would be good, if it was not being drowned out by a sickening amount of maple. The maple is very sweet and very overpowering.
Too much maple. Too much maple. Wayyyy too much maple. Did I mention there's too much of that sickly sweet maple flavor?

*Canned on 9/6/19. Purchased at WBL Elevated Liquor.
L-Not good. 3/4 foam/1/4 beer. Something is off.
S-A little tart and yeasty....touch of rotten eggs. Not what I was expecting.
T-Taste is more what I was expecting. Has a bit of that nu goodie bar flavor. Peanuts, chocolate...touch of caramel. It's not bad. Lightly sour on the finish.
F-Thin yet super carbonated and spritzy.
O-This is off and never should have gone out to the market.

16oz can. On can bottom is stamped canning date of '09/06/19'.
Amber brown to brown colored body. Big beige head upon initial pour but this disappears down to an interrupted island and ring. Leaves behind a good pattern of small to medium spots of lacing.
Aroma is super candy sweet like. Has peanut butter, chocolate, and nougat, with a definite maple whiff.
Taste is sweet but not as sweet as the smell suggests. Has a flavor that approximates a Pearson's Nut Goodie Bar, plus the slight flavor of maple. Lots of peanut butter and chocolate.
Thin mouth feel. Good carbonation.
Tin Whiskers and Pearson's Candy Company are both in Saint Paul MN. To me this is a gimmick beer, but the result is a very good resemblance to the actual candy bar.

Pours a dark brown cola color with a thick tan cap that recedes quickly without leaving any lacing. Aroma is roasted peanuts and dark malt. Flavor is peanut butter with some chocolate and faint maple syrup. No real resemblance to an actual nut goodie. Fairly sweet but not cloying. Feel is thinnish and only lightly carbonated. Overall an okay "peanut butter" porter, but nothing special.
