This is a super relaxed craft bar. Indoor and outdoor seating available, good greasy pizza next door. Selection is a mix of US and local PR beers, while the owner waits to get his permits in line in order to sell his own beers. The selection is not as extensive as other bars on the island, but it gets the job done every time.
Also the only bar in PR to sell shirts and stickers.

Rincon is a relaxed town on the west coast of Puerto Rico known for its great surf and friendly people. It's also a place where it was, up until recently, difficult to find anything but a Medalla Light to quench your thirst (I have a special place in my heart/stomach for Medalla).
When my wife told me that there was a beer place that looked like it was opening on the main downtown street, I was excited to get something a step above a light marathon day-drinking beer. I was not expecting 11 taps and a selection of over a dozen outstanding bottles covering some crowd favorites like Bells and Victory, to some local microbrews like Fok Brewing, to a perfectly chilled bottle of Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier.
There are great places to grab a beer because they have a killer beer list. There are also great places to grab a beer because they manage to capture the spirit of their environment. With an open, airy feel, light colors, plenty of light, a simple bar and floor plan that invites people to come and go as they please and a perfectly balanced beer list, the Rincon Brewing Co. manages to be both. They have stayed true to the town that is their namesake, and it really works.
We happened to be their first customers ever - poking our heads in to inquire about a pint just as they looked to be wrapping up final staff meeting prior to officially opening. My only regret is that we arrived before Rincon Brewing Co's own brewery was up and running. I look forward to another BA contributor review of that, or I'll be sure to grab a pint when I get back to Rincon next year!

WOW, great beer and knowledgeable people...
They had draft and bottle choices from local island breweries and around the world. A list of Cocktails and hopped vodka shots with Harpoon IPA as well.
No current offerings from the internal brewing operation (yet) . I was told both their beer and food end of Feb 14 or early Mar 14.
Until then go and enjoy some great beer choices and people too. Brothers Pizza next door is always an option too.
This is a must stop for anyone in the Rincon area. What a great addition to the downtown scene.
