500ml Bottle from Pauls Off License, Donegal (£2.85):
Not the best from Kinnegar, the beer was quite fresh & floral with a lot of lemon & citrus opening alongside some background fruits & wheat but it was definitely missing something & seemed a little bland at points. It was crisp & well-carbonated with a crisp, sharp feel but it didn't grab my attention at any point & I can't imagine it will prove memorable either. There was a light bitterness seeing things out with some pine & grapefruit too but it's definitely nothing special sadly & it'll likely be a one-off trying this one for me.

Pours a hazy yellow colour. Faint citrus hop nose, hints of malts and bitterness. Taste is earthy hops throughout, slightly bitter, crisp and dry.

now called "Session white IPA" and it's 4.5%. Very pale lemony colour, frothy foamy head, a touch cloudy, aroma of pineapple and a touch of pepper, flavour starts off like a fresh summer ale with hints of lemon and pineapple then the hops kick in powerfully, very hoppy, hits the back of the throat nicely, another really good beer from the Kinnegar brewery!

Bottle label says 4.9%.
Cloudy like a wheat beer but tastes hoppy like an IPA. Smell is nice: pineapple and bananas. Not much carbonation seen. Slight lacing. Fairly acidic, would be nice to know the IBU ratings on kinnegars beers. Not getting enough of the wheat beer elements and mostly the American hops.

500ml bottle bought from GapWines, Belfast
Poured a nice golden hazy yellow colour. Slightly off white head poured pretty thick and rocky then faded to good one finger covering. Lots of carbonation rushes to the surface... decent sticky lacing...
Aroma - Light spicy yeast followed by juicy fruits (grapefruits, limes, light lemons, apples), some tropical hints (faint pineapple), floral and grassy, light talcum powder traces, quite peppery, slightly perfumed, slightly chalky
Taste - Wheaty and hoppy, spicy yeast, juicy tart fruits (grapefruits, limes, apples, grapes), floral and grassy, chalky traces, faint honey sweetness, some light metallic notes, citrusy hop bitterness, quite floral...
Mouthfeel - Pretty sharp and dry... light bodied... very, very refreshing and quaffable especially at 4.8%
Overall - An excellent and nicely hopped up Wheat beer... would make a perfect summer brew. Definitely recommended...
