Poured into a tulip glass out of a 0.5 ltr bottle purchased from the Brauerei in Stuttgart.
APPEARANCE – Opaque golden orange in color w/ a thin white head that dissipates quickly leaving a thin white ring around the glass. No observable carbonation.
SMELL – Nice piney hop aroma.
TASTE – Nice hop front that mirrors the aroma and well balanced with a smooth slightly sweet finish.
MOUTHFEEL – Good body with mild carbonation (surprising given absence of bubbles).
OVERALL – A very, very good pale ale that I could easily mistake for an IPA. I think that rack of 20 x .5 liters is going to go fast!!
