Tried this in bottled (330ml) from the Good Food Boutique in Stornoway. The beer pours nicely, a copper chestnut color with a white head that left lacing. The nose is mainly barley with some hints of toastiness. The beer has a bitter sweet taste, with a initial sweetness of malts that then finishes with a lingering bitterness of hops and a hint of grapefruit. The beer feels right for its style, enough body for a darker beer without feeling too dense. Overall a very pleasant experience, not the best Scottish beer I've had, but I would certainly drink it again.
