Wild Wheat 5%
A different wheat beer with yeast that does not dominate. The wheat gives the beer a light body and a pleasant taste of fresh bread, balanced by ample hops contributes a floral aroma. Suitable as a simple thirst quencher or with light lunches.

Copenhagen 12/2 2017. 50 cl bottle from Skjold Burne. Some kind of animal - looks like a cross between a bear and a Mountain Lion - with a big Beer-gun. Kind of First Blood vibe over this.
Pours hazy orange with big white head. Settles as 1,5 cm thick layer of foam. Lacing on the side of the glass.
Aroma is pretty intense. Very fresh and fruity. Gooseberry, citrus and unripe apples.
Medium strong carbonation and thin watery texture.
Flavor has medium sugary sweetness followed by dominant sourness and bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter.
Different take on the wheat beer concept. But in a refreshing way which suits my taste buds.
