Barnstormer’s easy drinking Blonde Ale is brilliantly clear, pale in colour and has a sweet smooth malty flavour. This is complimented by its sweet, slightly floral nose

A nice looking beer clear with nice bubbly action. Slight sweetness on the sip also on the nose. Mouthfeel is medium bodied but smooth. A nice beer

473 ml can served fairly cold into a pint glass. Thanks to Kevin and Claudia for the gift.
Appearance - Pours a hazy bright light golden color and topped with a thin finger of white head. Good carbonation but the head doesn't last.
Smell - Not a lot on the nose, some faint sweetness / caramel / grainy note, but otherwise not a whole lot.
Taste - Really light, grassy and faintly sweet notes. Extremely watery. Being a blonde ale, I wasn't expecting a ton, but taste is very minimal. Flavor comes around a little stronger once it begins to warm.
Mouthfeel - Actually fairly heavily carbonated, too much so given the lack of flavor that it's noticeable. Light body and fizzy finish.
Overall - Disappointing, although that may just be this can. The can advertises the beer as brilliantly clear, so it might be off. Have another couple to try and certainly hope this is better than this particular sample.
