Very dark, nearly opaque in the stange glass. Very light bodied and highly drinkable. Plenty of carbonation. Brewed with Northern Brewer hops and Guatemalan coffee.
Dry and malty flavored at the same time. The coffee flavor is more subtle than a lot of java brews. It adds a bitter aromatic taste to the long grainy flavors. Watery and refreshing without much sweetness. More of an edge with all the very dark roasted malt and that chared coffee note.
Not your average sweet caramel Brown Ale. On tap at the brew pub in South Park, Seattle.
