I really can’t say why I expected more from this beer, but I did. Maybe it’s because the Pacific Northwest has been banging out great Lagers lately, and also because the cute lil name of the beer got to me because I cut my teeth as a youngster on English Ales. Either way, after taking a drink of this sucker, cute wasn’t the first word that came to me. It’s actually slightly harsh like Pikachu on Adderall. I mean, he’s still Pikachu, but he’s acting up and probably needs to go on timeout. All that being said, I won’t give London Lager two minutes in the box, but it’s definitely not playing on the first line.
