"Indiehops has given us a gift with their newest hop, Lorien. It’s an ingredient-friendly lager hop that does its best work in lower alcohol lagers (something we are stupid enough to make and make often). The description is super heady, “the feeling of a summer meadow near a cold mountain stream”…ok Indie…whatever. Then we made a beer with it and can only describe it as, “imagine if you will, the perfect drummer. You aren’t blown away by them but without them, the cadence is shit and the band falls apart. Lorien is the perfect drummer.” Sometimes something is so lovely that only a heady description will suffice. Lorien will make them very little money (if any at all) but it gives you an insight into why they do what they do…love and stupidity."

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
