Copper body with decent clarity and a puffy little offwhite head that settles down to a fuzz and clings to the edges.
Nose is caramelly malts through and through. A little toast/brown bread and a touch of spicy/grassy hops.
Flavour is lighter than the appearance would suggest. Some light toast and brown bread from the malts, some light grassy/spicy hops. Tidy is the word that comes to mind. A brief little jaunt and then it's all wrapped up at the end with a little bit of light lingering bitterness and caramel malts to tie it together.
Crisp and drinkable with a pleasant little swell at the finish, this is actually impressing me more the more I think aobut it/work into the glass. It's very clean and neatly presented and gives a very distinct impression of competence on the part of the brewers, which might sound like a weird way to describe it, but everything just feels like even if it's not my absolute favourite this that or the other thing, it all feels in proportion and in location exactly where the brewers intended it. Cheers!
