Pours a cloudy gold color that only becomes cloudier and more opaque as the rest of the can is poured into the glass. Three to four finger white sudsy head forms on the beer, lingers for quite some time before dissipating. A thin layer of foam remains on the beer throughout along with lots of sticky lacing. Aroma has notes of barley malt, some light grain, some light honey and then grassy, old world hops.
Taste follows the nose with sweet malts, grassy hops, honey, and some white bread. The malts lack the complexity of the best helles, but this is still really well done. Feel is light, a bit chewy, with bright carbonation keeping it very drinkable overall.
Overall this is really hitting the spot right now - perfect beer for a sunday afternoon - or anytime.
