Had this on 2015-01-17 and 2016-10-29 at the brewery.
Notes from 2016-10-29
S - Medium roasted grain, mocha, light clove and banana.
T - Toasted sourdough wheat bread. Touch of citrus and herbal spice. Somewhat acerbic in the finish rather than sweet.
O - Similar to the first batch with better aroma.
Original review from 2015-01-17 below
A - Opaque dark amber with a short tan head and mild lace.
S - Very light aromas of malt, clove and banana.
T - Tastes like a brown ale with light overtones of a wheat beer. Clove and banana are muted. Some moderate bitterness. Not very sweet.
M - Meduum body and light carbonation.
O - A tasty brew although not what I expected. Quite different than a commercial Weienstepan Dunkle.
