Had this on 2015-09-20 at the brewery.
A - Fairly clear gold-orange with a short white head and mild lace.
S - Herbal spice, citrus, pine. On the mild side.
T - Hop forward, unusual citrus flavor (yuzu?), lots of pepper, herbal/medicinal spice, toasted white bread, pine. Very bitter finish. Dry.
M - Light-medium body and carbonation. Prickly and astringent.
O - A tongue scrapper. Aggressive. I like a little more residual sweetness in DIPAs but I'm sure this will please many folks.

This was the last offering I tried at Columbia Kettle Works -served in a goblet chilled.
The color is golden light amber with small white head and fine bead with spots of lace. The smell has a lot of grapefruit and citrus with slight herbal hop aroma and mild alcohol in the nose. The feel is mildly sweet with semi-high alcohol and moderately bitter with very dry finish.
The taste is good as far as bitterness level, however there is some phenolic which gives the impression of a strong saison, not an Imperial IPA. More of a peppery/herbal hop flavor with low malt and slightly dry and alcohol flavored toward the husky finish. Overall I was a little dissapointed considering how good the other beers I taste were, but it is still not a complete failure. I would recommend giving this a try if you like It has a dry yeast presence and hoppy strong ale quality like a hoppy belgian, not what I consider true to style but not bad either.
